We are growing and require a motivated, qualified Fitter with strong hydraulic troubleshooting and maintenance experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring plant reliability through effective preventative and corrective maintenance. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment, with a focus on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include fault diagnosis, repairs, breakdown response, root cause analysis, accurate reporting, safety compliance, housekeeping, equipment upgrades, and standby or overtime when required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence.

• Recognised Trade Test qualification as a Fitter.

• Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong practical knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders,

    valves, power packs, presses, hose and pipework installation and repairs.

• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.

• Welding and basic fabrication experience will be advantageous.

• Medically fit for work in an industrial environment.
